For how many people is Gasthof Schorn suitable?
Our five event rooms in Grödig near Salzburg adapt flexibly to your occasion – from a small family gathering to a large wedding with up to 150 guests. Plus our garden terrace with around 60 seats at the foot of the Untersberg.
- Bürgerstube – up to 20 people: the oldest part, small gatherings
- Turmstüberl – up to 25 people: celebrations in a family setting
- Untersbergstube – up to 35 people: the second-oldest parlour, with a view
- Wintergarten – up to 40 people: birthdays, christenings, family gatherings
- Hochzeitssaal – up to 150 people: weddings & large events
Is Gasthof Schorn suitable as a wedding venue near Salzburg?
Yes – with everything under one roof. Our Hochzeitssaal (wedding hall) offers a magnificent setting for up to 150 guests, the cuisine comes from our own kitchen, your guests stay right on site, and the garden terrace with a view of the Untersberg is ready for the champagne reception. For the ceremony itself you are in the best surroundings: the pilgrimage church in the village, the registry office in Grödig or a ceremony on the Untersberg. We arrange your individual wedding package personally with you. As a four-star, family-owned house since 1880, we accompany you from choosing the menu to the table decoration.
Which room is right for a christening or a milestone birthday?
For christenings, birthdays and family gatherings we recommend our Wintergarten – a bright room for up to 40 people, opening directly onto the garden terrace. For smaller groups, the Turmstüberl (up to 25 guests) or the Bürgerstube (up to 20 guests), the oldest part of our house, are ideal.
Can we reserve a room allotment for our celebration?
Yes, gladly. Subject to availability, we'll reserve an allotment from the rooms in the main house and the guesthouse opposite – your guests stay right on site. We recommend requesting the allotment as early as possible.
How long can we celebrate?
You can celebrate with us until 2 a.m. – plenty of time to enjoy your event to the full.
May we bring our own cake or drinks?
By arrangement, that's gladly possible. Just talk to us in advance and we'll find the right solution for your celebration.
